Nan Jacobs is a native of Rome, Georgia and has a B.S. in music education.

She believes that we all have an intense need for art, inspiration, and creativity in our lives.  While walking Florida's ravaged Emerald Coast beaches after Hurricane Ivan, she picked up boxes of driftwood and shells from which she creates "rugged crosses" decorated with wire, beads, freshwater pearls, shells, and/or stones.

Nan creates other unique crosses and custom gifts, suspending anything from martini glasses to wine bottles within once discarded frames.  She enjoys painting acrylic and watercolor canvases and designs and creates jewelry from sterling, gemstones, beads, vintage trinkets, and jewelry pieces.
